Standing up for cleaner Fuel

Our promise
The consistently high quality of our products has always been a key differentiator for our brand and customer value proposition. While regulations vary widely in different parts of the world, we exceed national quality specifications where ever possible and work with governments to improve national benchmarks in fuel quality, through advice, collaboration and investment. Better fuel means cleaner air, better quality of life, and greater efficiency and engine health.

Cleaner fuel
Millions of people around the world rely on access to fuel to lead prosperous lives. Fuel boosts growth, but poor quality fuel has a negative impact on air quality. So how can we maintain the economic benefits, without harming our health? Cleaner fuel is a crucial part of the solution and we are committed to championing it.
At Puma Energy, we work with governments to help them raise fuel standards. We invest in the testing and infrastructure needed to deliver cleaner fuel over the long term. And we always provide the highest quality fuel possible – fuel that meets American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) standards right along the value chain.

$1.6m invested in storage capacity and cleaner fuel infrastructure in Africa since 2012
We use external testers and in some of our more remote locations we have laboratories on-site. What’s more, our continuous investment in clean fuel storage facilitates like tanks, pipes and loading bays is enabling a reliable supply of cleaner fuel to new markets.
The consistently high quality of our products has always been a key differentiator for our brand and customer value proposition. While regulations vary widely in different parts of the world, we exceed national quality specifications wherever possible and work with governments to improve national benchmarks in fuel quality through advice, collaboration and investment.
For example, we can now import clean fuels into the African continent thanks to a new state-of-the-art clean storage facility in Mozambique. At the same time, we are helping shape regulations across the continent through our involvement with the World Economic Forum’s cleaner fuel efforts, and by actively interacting with local governments and regulators. Across the Atlantic, in Puerto Rico, we’ve introduced Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) into power generation as a cleaner, safer fuel in homes and industries.
