Puma Aviation Wins Upington Airport Contract

Puma Energy Aviation has won the competitive tender with the Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA) to manage the fuel farm at Upington International Airport.

ACSA owns and operates South Africa’s nine principal airports, of which three are major international gateways. Upington International is located in the Northern Cape and boasts the longest runway in the entire southern hemisphere, attracting a significant flow of international cargo and foreign investment in the airport. Puma Aviation first secured an anchor key customer and, in this case, we’ll be refuelling the regular Airlink flights to Cape Town and Johannesburg, with the airport capable of facilitating up to 60,000 passengers each year.

Since signing the contract, we’ve also become the supplier of Jet and Avgas at the airport, and we’ll continue to grow the partnership.
